No. There is no Creel account and no Creel server holding your log. Species, length, water temperature and your coaching are all computed on your device. Creel fetches public weather data, and syncs your data across your devices only, through your own iCloud. The privacy policy lists every outside service the app contacts and exactly what each receives.

No. Creel is an iPhone app. The measurement, the identification and the writing use hardware and models that only exist there.

Logging catches with the weather and conditions filled in, the camera-roll scan with species identification, trips, the map's pins, named spots and search, the whole record book, backup, restore and undo, iCloud sync, and widgets in record mode. It has no time limit. Everything is open for 30 days from your first scan; after that, the score, bite windows and alerts, the water-temperature model, length from the photo, species bank scoring, insights, spot suggestions and written coaching need a plan: $29.99 a year, $4.99 a month, or Creel Lifetime as a one-time App Store purchase. The log, the scan, species identification and the record book keep working. Anything the models already wrote onto your records during the trial stays; nothing is taken back. The score, bite windows, the water-temperature model, length from the photo and the rest of the analytics need a plan.

Subscriptions are billed by the App Store, not by Creel. Open Settings on your iPhone, tap your name, then Subscriptions, then Creel. Cancelling keeps the subscription running to the end of the period you paid for; the free plan continues after that, with your log intact. Creel Lifetime is a one-time App Store purchase, not a subscription, so there is nothing to cancel; it stays with your account.

iPhone Pro models from iPhone 12 Pro on, which carry the depth sensor the measurement reads. On other iPhones, photos go to a short list you fill in by hand, and Creel estimates the weight from the length you enter.

Coaching requires an iPhone with Apple Intelligence turned on. When the model is unavailable the card is blank rather than filled with something generic. It also gets specific only once it has ten of your fish with weather to work from.

The card appears only when the forecast fits a spot you have caught fish at. On a day it does not, there is no card. It is not a daily feature.

No. Nothing leaves your device to identify or measure your fish. The one exception is a screenshot you deliberately attach to a feedback report from inside the app. The privacy policy has the detail.

Your log syncs through your own iCloud if you leave that on, so it survives a lost phone and appears on your other devices. You can also back up the whole log to a file from the app's backup screen, and restore one trip or one catch with undo.

From inside the app, send a feedback report; it carries what you write, your device model and iOS version, and the diagnostics you choose to attach. Or email inquiries@creel.fish. Reports are deleted after 12 months.
